The Settlement at Thomas Divide was born back in 2007, when a small group of friends, who worked together in New York City, came down to Bryson City to look for property. After several days of looking, this 180-acre parcel, nestled against the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, stood out as the gem. Eleven years later, with approximately half the property developed, we have 22 lots sold with 12 homes built.
The Settlement at Thomas Divide was established with the goal to grow a community rooted in an outdoor lifestyle. Whether you are an equestrian, a hiker, mountain biker, or fly fisherman, you are sure to find a dream lot in our community located in between Bryson City and Cherokee.
Thomas Divide has pasture land for horses, a barn, and borders the Great Smoky Mountains National Park with over 500 miles of trails available. For more amenity information click here.
Our investors remain committed to their dream, and by self-financing are now able to offer owner financing to buyers. Please feel free to discuss this with Carol if you are interested.
And our property manager is Carol, mother to Ben, one of these intrepid friends. A lifetime rider, it was she who immediately understood the value of this property from the perspective of the trail rider. Having moved to Bryson City back in 2007, Carol is now deeply entrenched in the community, loving the beauty and lifestyle it offers.
