Special Events 2010

We are currently working on a series of events from our property, throughout the spring, summer and fall.   We would like to invite you to join us as you can.  Please check in every now and again, and see the events we have added.  If you are unable to come when we have an “official” event, please feel free to call us, and see if there is availability for you to come and stay on the property, either camping, or in a cabin (not on the property), on the dates of your choice.   We know that once you have come for visit, and had a chance to use our incredible trails, you will understand what a wonderful community we are in the process of building.   There is a charge of $25.00 a night for a water and electric hook up, plus a $20.00 or $15.00 a night for your horse.  We have an old farmhouse you are welcome to stay in too, $40.00 a night, bring your own linens, queen sized bed is comfortable!    Call us to discuss your plans.

 

Sept. 11        Log Raising – come help raise the logs on our first house, starts at 9.0 am                      until about 3.0 pm, breakfast and lunch provided.   Come join the fun.                        Please call Carol (828 788 3648) and let us know if you are coming, so  we                      can plan for food.

 

Sept 18-19    Back Country Horsemen of NC overnight camping, trail rides

 

Sept. 24-27   Trail ride, pot luck supper on Saturday night.   You are welcome to stay more

                      nights on either side.

 

October and November are lovely months here, no official plans as of yet, but come stay

and enjoy the park.   No hunting allowed, so nothing to prevent you enjoying the trails!
